creative process
From first contact we will put you at ease, and work with you to understand what you are looking for, and to help you create a vision. We can provide many different looks or styles, and if you have something specific in mind, we would love to create something new with you.
Once we know what the theme will be for the Session, we go to great lengths to ensure your day is prepared in advance. Everything from Hair and Makeup artists, to a wardrobe which is fitting for the style and session.
When the day arrives, you will know everything that is going to happen, leaving you free to enjoy the session looking and feeling your best, knowing you are in good hands.
We then select the best images from the day, and out the Chris Kern signature finish to the images. This process can take a few days to complete, and when done, we will contact you to come in and view the final result.
When all images are finished, you will be invited back to the studio to view, and select the images you wish to keep and cherish.
Additional sizes can be printed framed, or mounted depending on your preference.
All photos you select will also be provided in digital format.

When we agree the style and the date of the shoot, we will provide you with all information well in advance to make sure you are prepared for your day. The most important things you need to consider are the type and style of clothes, and of course, who you will share your photos with.
